RJHA is Expanding

With its continued growth this year Robert J. Hopp & Associates has found the need to expand.  Begining today, rennovations have begun on the new  offices for RJHA.  The new offices will be located on the fourth floor of the Hopp Law Centre and will feature state of the art systems and facilities.  These new offices will allow for continued growth and enhanced services for our clients.  During construction the operations will remain in Suite 200.

Hopp & Associates will staff its local office at 3916 Juan Tabo Place, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.  From this office we will cover local appearances and hearings thoughtout the state of New Mexico offering all of our default and mortgage related services.  We will continue to handle client services and communications from our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Richard Martin joins RJHA as new VP of Default Operations

Richard T. Martin has joined the RJHA team as the new Vice President of Default Operations following a four year term at the South Carolina firm of Rogers Townsend and Thomas where he was in charge of timeline management and quality assurance in their default lender services unit.  Prior to joining Rogers Townsend and Thomas, Mr.Martin served nearly 25 years in mortgage servicing with a great deal of that time focused on default servicing.

We welcome Richard to the team in Denver where he will oversee all default operations for RJHA and bring with him his vast knowledge and experience.

Colorado Late Bill Concerning Mandatory Loss Mitigation

Today it is expected that a late Bill will be introduced in the Colorado Legislator proposing to mandate undefined loss mitigation efforts by the lender prior to foreclosure.  Although there may be merit underlying this effort, the late nature of the legislation and the impact on the judiciary and lending industry would be massive and should not be taken lightly.  The proposed requirements and procedures will have a fiscal impact and participation by all interested parites should be had before implementing more changes on the heels of the major foreclosure law reform last year.
