House Bill 1157 sponsored by House Assistant Majority Leader Representative Michael Garcia was heard by the Business Affairs Committee on February 8th 2007 and unanimously approved, 9-0.  This represents a continuing effort by Robert J. Hopp and members of the Colorado Public Trustee Association to improve and advance the administration of foreclosures in Colorado.  This new legislation will pick up where House Bill 1387 left off last year with process consistency and new administrative processes reducing time and expense traditionally incurred in the foreclosure process.
